The Hermanns Tortoise including a Viv Exotic Tortoise Table and Cabinet Complete Package is a complete package and contains everything you need.
The Hermanns tortoise originates from Southern Europe, from Spain to Turkey. This is a hibernating breed. It is one of the most popular and more commonly kept species of tortoise within the UK. Hermanns are within the small to medium sized family of tortoise breeds and can live up to 50 years or more. High UV lighting is required and low to moderate humidity. On average, an adult Hermann’s tortoise will grow to approximately 7-10 inches (18-25cms). However, this may vary in individuals.
This species is listed as Annex A and is required to have the accompanying Article 10 CITES certificate to be legally sold. We will provide this certificate and it must stay with the tortoise throughout its life.
